Action Summit Topics & Speakers

Our 2020 Main Conference will be the best one yet!

While we are losing the former “MICPAC” name, we have retained much of what has made us so successful in the past: great topics and speakers who thoroughly inform us regarding choices we have in Michigan around protection of conservative principles and the rule of law.

Improvements since 2019 include our hosting all events in a first class conference venue, upgraded food service, upgraded video and audio technology, and improved climate control.

Our theme this year is “Constitution in Crisis“. Why? It was clear to us as we began planning the conference that political discourse in America has reached an unprecedented level of animosity, distrust, and hatred not seen in our lifetimes. And we need to do something about it. Read more HERE.

Our objective this year is to provide insight into six key areas in which our Constitution faces significant threats — sometimes from Republican lawmakers. Led by National and Michigan experts on these topics, our panel discussions will not only describe the problem, but will discuss SOLUTIONS and provide you with ample time for Questions & Answers from panelists. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Here is an overview of each area of the Saturday agenda:

American Law for American Courts (Sharia vs. the U.S. Constitution)

Overview: Where are we going in Michigan regarding the use of non-U.S. law in our court and political systems? Two very well-known Michigan leaders will answer that question and provide insight on strategies to turn back “progressive” change in this area.

Dave Agema is a former U.S.A F. fighter pilot, retired Lt. Colonel, retired State Representative, and RNC Committeeman.  He authored several illegal immigration bills and provided Articles of Impeachment at the RNC against Barack Obama.  He was considered the most conservative State Representative with a 100% rating.  Agema regularly speaks and writes about Islam, Sharia law, and related UN goals

Convention of States: Playing with Fire

Overview: Many Michigan residents have no idea how badly calling an Article V “Convention of States” will destroy the U.S. Constitution.

Joanna Martin (“Publius Huldah”) is a retired litigation attorney.  She is well known nationally for her powerful explanations of the genuine meaning of our Constitution and of the dangers of an Article V convention.  As you hear her speak, you will understand why certain factions try to prevent you from hearing her speak.  She tells the Truth – and proves it.

Election Integrity: Reclaiming the Voter Rolls and Counting

Overview: Without fair and honest elections, Michigan is no better than many third-world countries. Despite the threats of illegal aliens being registered, votes being suppressed, and election workers miscounting ballots, there are plans in place to address all of these issues and more.

The Right to Bear Arms: Defense of Freedom

Overview: Coming immediately after our right to Free Speech in the U.S. Constitution, the right to bear arms is so fundamental to our country’s founding that is seems incredible that we find ourselves having to defend this right almost daily. Our distinguished panel is composed of a famous County Sheriff and author from Arizona, an important gun rights foundation executive, and a talented radio show host leading the grass-roots efforts in Michigan to preserve it all.

Sheriff Richard Mack was sheriff for eight years in Graham County, Arizona. He is best known for his U.S. Supreme Court challenge to the Brady Bill, a gun control scheme contrary to Constitutional limits.  Mack authored several books including, “The County Sheriff: America’s Last Hope”, in which he coined the phrase “constitutional sheriff”, later embraced by leaders including former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Brenden Boudreau is the Executive Director of Great Lakes Gun Rights and has nearly a decade of public policy and grassroots political experience. In addition to his work with GLGR, he is the Director of Field Operations for the National Association for Gun Rights, and has helped pass Constitutional Carry laws in states across the nation in this role.
